TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE

A committee of eight parents whose expertise is in technology was formed during the 2005-2006 year. This committee met weekly to assess the status of technology at St. Lawrence Education Center and to make recommendations to the administrators to ensure that the Education Center remains on the cutting edge of educational technology use.

In June, 2006, the committee submitted their report of findings and recommendations in the areas of infrastructure, servers, back-ups, software, laptops, staffing, funding, and management. Since that time, the committee meets annually to assess the current status and make additional recommendations.
