The St. Lawrence Advantage in Technology
Computer centers in each elementary classroom and the library
Laptop for each student in Middle School
AlphaSmart carts in grades 1, 2, and 3
Technology integrated into the curriculum
Wireless access in each classroom and throughout the campus
All students at St. Lawrence have access to the latest technology with HP 6510b laptops to support the academic curriculum. Elementary students have computer centers in their classrooms to use in small groups or individually as needed.
In the Middle School, students receive a laptop to use for class work, writing, researching, etc. Students also use their laptops to create movies and PowerPoint presentations. With the use of a flash drive students can easily transport their work from school to home and vice-versa.
Parents, too, are part of the technology experience at St. Lawrence. Homework and grades are posted on-line using teacher websites and PowerSchool so that parents, using a user name and password, can check grades from home making it easier to keep up with assignments and their student's progress.
St. Lawrence Elementary and Middle Schools do not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and/or ethnic origin, sex or disability in administration of educational policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs.
