Financial Aid

Two programs of financial aid are available at St. Lawrence.

The first is the scholarship program consisting of grants from the Diocese of San Jose for students whose need is extreme. The second is the financial aid program sponsored by St. Lawrence School. Applications for both programs are filed together and the form is available each year in January with an early to mid-February deadline. Applicant families are required to fill out the forms and submit their income tax return for the current or previous year with a processing fee. The information is sent to a processing firm to be computer analyzed and the resulting determination of need is returned to the school. Grants are made by the Diocese of San Jose and St. Lawrence School based on the available funds and established need.

The school also has several scholarship endowments, which help fund assistance for students. Each year the combined programs provide financial assistance for 20-30 families. It is our hope that all who need financial aid can be assisted.
