In order to receive First Eucharist for the first time, it is necessary to have some preparation. This is in order to ensure that the one receiving First Eucharist understands and appreciates this sacrament.

Catholics who were baptized as children usually make their First Eucharist before Confirmation. But First Eucharist and Confirmation can be done in either order. Adult Catholics who have only been baptized, receive both sacraments at the same time.

Preparation for First Eucharist at Saint Lawrence Parish is done according to age.
