Adoration Group

The Adoration Group prepares our weekly 12-hour Eucharistic Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM every Thursday. A Solemn Benediction at 8:30 PM concludes the Day of Adoration. The Adoration Group also takes care in putting things away after the Benediction. In addition, they take sign-ups for Parishioners to have some time alone and pray before the very presence of Our Lord.

Legion of Mary

Members give glory to God through sanctification of its members, prayer and active cooperation in Mary’s and the Church’s work. Members participate in the life of the Parish through evangelization, visitation of families, and visit to the sick both in their homes and in hospitals. They also collaborate many of the apostolic and missionary undertakings sponsored by the Parish. Under the guidance of the Pastor, members meet for prayer, planning and discussion at the Rectory Conference Room every Sunday after the 8:00 AM Mass in a family setting.

Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help

Every Tuesday, at 8:15 AM before the 8:30 AM Mass, the Novena to Our Mother of Perpetual is prayed in the Church. The Novena is very significant to the pioneer Parishioners of Saint Lawrence who for many years gathered on Tuesday evenings for Novena Mass that superseded any other Parish events and meetings.

Prayer Chain

Many of our Parishioners dedicate time to pray for fellow parishioners. Open for requests, the Parish Front Office receives letters and phone calls asking for prayers. In addition to having these prayer intentions remembered at Mass, parishioners who are involved in the Prayer Chain also pray for them.

Retreat

Periodically held during Advent and Lent, the Parish organizes Retreats and Parish Missions. This is in addition to the retreats that are especially organized for Liturgical Ministers and Catechists.
